The common convention states that a "young architect" means under 40. However, architectural scene has changed drastically and now even younger professionals make it to the big game: whether as former disciples of big names (most often, OMA) or with their own big break through a competition or a lucky comission. So what do youngsters bring to the scene? While there's not much of a rebellion, there is surely a heightened sensitivity to context, optimism, carefully calculated ambition and well, quite a wit, as the scope of their works extends often far beyond the visible horizons of traditional architecture.
