Wilbur Wynant House

The Wilbur Wynant House also known as 600 Fillmore or simply the Wynant House was a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was part of his American System-Built Homes Series. Although the house was built in 1916, it was not discovered to be by Frank Lloyd Wright until 1995. During the end of the house's lifespan it was in poor condition. The house was purchased by David Muhammad who planned to restore the house. On January 9, 2006 a fire burned most of the house down.

The Wynant House was a model of the American System-Built Homes Series known as Model D-101 and was the only known Frank Lloyd Wright house of its type. The house had 3 bedrooms and a bathroom all located on the second floor. A living room, dining room and a kitchen were found on the first floor. The house also had a garage located on the first floor.

On January 9, 2006 the Wynant House burned down. Officials suspect arson as the cause of this unexpected fire.
