W Hollywood Hotel and ResidencesEdit profile
Designed by HKS Hill Glazier Studio, the W Hollywood Hotel and Residences is located at the world-famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine. This urban living, working and entertainment district serves as an icon of modern living, style and sophistication by being the gateway to the Hollywood Historic District. The site is home to a 300-room hotel, 144 luxury condominiums and over 40,000 square feet of street-level retail. Additionally, the project includes an MTA transit plaza, an upscale signature restaurant and nationally recognized bar, spa, roof-top pool and fitness facility.
The elements of the movie industry that have so powerfully left a mark on the identity of the Hollywood community, and western society as a whole, are unmistakably represented in the architecture of the new luxury, mixed-use development. Inspired by the silver screen, the building’s façade opens and reveals itself as the gateway to Hollywood. Through various surfaces, guests are able to glimpse the grandiose of what they are about to discover within. The red carpet invites one to come in and explore the intimacy of the glamorous world of the Hollywood movie star.
Roof top terraces for public and private functions are located throughout the project, giving a hint of the behind-the-scenes activity to which few people have access. The beauty of the seventh art involves your complete and undivided attention with only a small glimpse of reality at the end. This beauty is shared through the public spaces, which are completely surrounded by the art and beauty of architecture as one arrives and experiences a piece of this Hollywood dream.
With upscale shopping, dining and entertainment, the W Hollywood Hotel and Residences offers hotel guests and condominium owners alike the opportunity to capture the essence of Hollywood glamour and glitz.
