The Coronet Cinema
The Coronet Cinema had been empty for over ten years when Cathedral Group PLC asked DLA to put forward proposals to develop the Grade-II listed building and surrounding site. Following extensive public consultation and successful negotiation with English Heritage, Greenwich Council unanimously approved the planning application to retain the modernist entrance and foyer and demolish the auditorium making way for an imaginative and sensitive residential/mixed use development. The building, now on site, will provide 55 residential units, six retail units, a restaurant and a communal garden.
