Tea Pavilion
It is not possible to forge the relic of the past, but one may tryto make the object to be space of imagination and life. It is staing in centre of lake. The lake is one of the part of sports complex "Fox Land". The "Chinese" character of the floating tea is matter not so much of shape as of sophisticated construction. The wooden blocks threaded together on a metal frame-work in such a way as to form a rigid structure are reminiscent of a well-known oriental toy - little balls immured in one another. There are several pretexts for tea-drinking ( a guotation from the Tea Book "Cha-Shu"). You may drink tea when - you are listening to the boring poetry, your thougts are confused, the music stops, when you live in solitude, when your life is a life of man of science, .in mirriage bad, when you talking late at nignt, during visiting your friend who is back from far-off lands, when flowers are unfolding, when it's find outside, during twilight, when you are contemplating the boats gliding along the channel, under the speading trees, when you are contemplating flows and stones forming a picturesque view. A floating tea arbour built of wooden cubs threated on a steel road frame. Density of the volume changes with the point of view. Spatial structure of the pavillion consists of vertical and horisontal metal bars and rigid fixation joints ( wooden cubs). The roofing structure - the glass on metal structure.
