Strandkanten
The project is part of a masterplan strategy that seeks to regenerate and develop the reclaimed strait area in the Norwegian town of Tromsø. Standkanten is a new residential quarter south of the town centre, which is quite important for the infrastructure. The completion of the whole masterplan consisting of 8 different zones, built into phases, aims to form a strong social and residential hub which will result in growth from within, will strengthen the activity in the centre and thus, reduce the need of transportation.
