Raffles City Hangzhou
Raffles City Hangzhou will be located at the traffic hub of the central business district, amongst the Hangzhou Grand Theatre, the international conference centre and the soon to be built municipal centers. By 2010, the plan for the new subway line 1 will greatly increase Raffles City Hangzhou's accessibility. In the future, not only will white-collar professionals have easy access to exclusive business infrastructure, people outside the central business district will also get to enjoy such convenient privileges. According to the proposed strategy by authorities, Hangzhou's city centre will gradually shift towards Qiantang River, which has been termed by many as the "Twenty-first century engine of Greater Hangzhou", underscoring its great potential for future development. With 370,000 residents and 20,000 working personnel within a 3 kilometer radius around Raffles City Hangzhou, this landmark project is set to cater to the business and leisure needs of everyone.
