Olympic Stadium BerlinEdit profile
The Stadium has a capacity of around 72-74,000, though we understand 66,000 is the usual capacity. The building was refurbished from 2000-04 by a well-respected practice of German architects. The Olympic Stadium hosted the FIFA World Cup Final on 9 July 2006. The Marathon Gate is 25m wide. The translucent oval roof is also an iconic element. The Stadium complex includes Football, Athletics, Hockey, Equestrian, Swimming, Theatre and Music facilities.
