The petrol station in Madrid is remarkable for its canopy that takes the shape of organically flowing waves. It also closely resemble the motion of the wings of a bird and although it is supported by a heavy steel construction and is clad in naturally weathering corten steel plates, the canopy still creates a feeling of lightness and free motion.
