Mirax-Plaza UkraineEdit profile
The Mirax-Plaza Ukraine (Ukrainian: Міракс-плаза Україна) is a 46-storymixed use building currently under construction in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. It is located in the Podil district outside of the city center proper (municipal address: 43, Glybochytska St.). Once completed, it will surpass Parus Business Centre (156 m or 516 ft) to become the tallest building in the country.
The property will feature class-A office space, as well as retail and residential space. Construction on the building began on December 22, 2006, and was initially expected to end in 2010. Due to the financial crisis of 2007-2009, however, the construction was put on hold. In May 2009 it was reported that Mirax Group has been in negotiations with AEON Corporation to sell the project. Some six months later, AEON Corporation acquired the project and has announced plans to correct the existing concept and commence construction in autumn of 2010.
