Miami Marine Stadium 2011

The idea behind the project is to propose an iconic structure to the Miami Marine to initiate actively to the current site, connect urban activity with down town Miami, and to function as an urban threshold from the sea. The program consists of a newly developed stadium for the Miami Marine, along with an open air floating stage. The structure linked to the stage is a large complex for exhibitions, public displays, and concerts. It's contained within a series of roofs and surfaces for a botanical garden and indoor-outdoor markets; on the opposite end is a convention center with a view towards the stadium and stage.

The architectural tectonic form that composes the stadium and exhibition spaces are a series of variant structural components and panels. Architectural vigor and variance in tectonic form bring intense spaces and new dichotomies of resonance.
