King's Cross Central - University of the Arts

Works are underway to transform much of the Grade II listed Granary Complex - once part of a goods interchange at the height of the Victorian industrial boom - into a new campus for 6,500 students and staff for the University of the Arts London. The Granary, an iconic building which forms the centre piece of the complex, will contain the College's library and reception. In keeping with the design credentials of the rest of the King’s Cross Central, the University will draw hot water and electricity from the site wide combined heat and power (CHP) system in 1-3 Canal Street.
