The kindergarten is organized in a number of longitudinal zones including an exterior playground, roofed outdoor terraces providing good playing conditions in the rough climate, ‘an indoor street’ with water-play areas giving a feel of a winter garden, and bases or the “private” quarters of each group of children. These zones contribute to make a soft transition from the exterior to the interior spaces – from the exposed wide landscape to the intimate zones.
