Jalan Merlimau

Given a narrow plot of land, one of the design strategies is to express the long circulation spaces as a feature of the house, in froms of canopied bridges and picture galleries that are ordered by the rhythm of formal colonnades.

The house is essentially villas (each main room stands on its own, not juxtaposed to other rooms) stacked up vertically and connceted by passageways over waterscapes and embraced by lush greenery.

I'm going to college for architecture and computer engineering. I want to be able to do something like this one day. It's genius.
