Situated right at the entrance to the trade fair, beneath the glazing of Hall 1, the “Modes de Bains” area – dedicated to new trends in the bathroom - was an amalgam of creativity and key topical technical innovations, perfect to showcase HI-MACS®. LG Hausys have partnered with French designer Patrick Nadeau in his Green waters display.
Patrick Nadeau, an internationally-acclaimed designer, develops projects which team architecture with design and nature. This particular combination appealed to innovative companies and institutions like Authentics, Boffi, the Festival des Jardins in Chaumont-sur-Loire, Maison Hermès, Kenzo Parfums, Louis Vuitton, the City of Rennes, Les Salines Royales d'Arc et Senans and, naturally, HI-MACS®.
A mix between utopia, fiction and reality, Green waters expanded on the theme of water and greenery. The project illustrated and staged the latest developments in eco-design for bathrooms (savings, recycling and the natural filtration of water).
The bathroom presented here examined this research and showed the ability to produce a remarkable design. HI-MACS® was a partner of this project and worked together with the Parisian manufacturer DESIGN & CREATION, building the panels which made up the walls, the floor, and the composting toilets which were part of the bathroom. Its strength and multi-purpose nature was ideal for this application, which required precision, flexibility and creativity. A host of qualities make the HI-MACS® Solid Surface a unique architectural feature.
