Gedling Mission Hall
Gedling Mission Hall is a high quality mixed-use development on a prominent but tight island site along Jamaica Road. The project entails a comprised commercial use at ground floor level with 38 residential units above, split proportionally between one, two and three bed units in line with local authority policy.

The massing and detail of the proposal reflect the ambition to design a building that is contemporary but rooted in and appropriate to the local context, a building that is particular rather than generic. The outer façade comprises alternating bands of brickwork and glazing / fixed panels and the cue for this prominent horizontal banding is taken directly from the neighbouring buildings.
