Friedrichshafen Airport

Friedrichshafen Airport (IATA: FDH, ICAO: EDNY) is an airport 1.9 miles (3km) north of Friedrichshafen, Germany. It is the third biggest airport of the German Bundesland Baden-Württemberg. The Airport served 650,000 passengers in 2008. It is also known as Bodensee Airport, Friedrichshafen.

History

This airport has had a long history. The first scheduled passenger flights with the Zeppelin started from here, long before they were relocated to Frankfurt/Zeppelinheim.
