Fila Forum

Mediolanum Forum di Assago (formerly known as Fila Forum, Datch Forum & Forum di Assago) is an indoor sports arena, in Assago near Milan, Italy. The arena holds up to 12,000 people.

It is primarily used for ice hockey, basketball and tennis.

It is the home floor of the prominent Italian professional basketball team Armani Jeans Milano.


Opened in 1990, Mediolanum Forum di Assago also hosts live concerts.

Van Halen were scheduled to perform during their III Tour on June 13, 1998, but the show was cancelled.

Hosted the 1994 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships.

Together with Lugano's Pista Resega, the Forum hosted the 2003 IIHF Continental Cup Superfinal (ice hockey).

It hosted the WWE RAW and SmackDown! tapings on April 16, 2007.

In January 2009, the arena changed its name to the current Mediolanum Forum replacing Datch Forum.

It is the host venue of the World Amateur Boxing Championships in September 2009.

Tokio Hotel gave a concert and filmed their Humanoid City Live DVD, on April 12, 2010.

Depeche Mode, filmed and recorded their shows at the sports arena on February 18 and 19, 2006 for the live home video and album, Touring the Angel: Live in Milan.
