About Otumba, the road to Ciudad Sahagun, is located this portentous work built between 1541 and 1557 to provide water to the population.
A portentous hydraulic works built between 1541 and 1557 by the Franciscan friar Francisco de Tembleque, to bring water from the hill to the town of Tecajete Otumba. The great work carried water along 42 km of 156 arches of colossal size. Today it retains a section that reaches a little over a kilometer long and 66 arches, plants with a height of 30 m.
