Estadio Brigadier Estanislao LópezEdit profile
Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao Lopez (nicknamed "El Cementerio de Los Elefantes") is a multi-purpose stadium in Santa Fe, Argentina, located in the south of the city near the Salado River. It is currently used primarily for football matches by Club Atlético Colón. The stadium has a capacity of 40,000, and was first opened in 1946. The ground's nickname (Elephants Graveyard in English) occurred as a result of Colon's numerous wins there against major teams.
It has also been used occasionally for Argentina rugby internationals, most recently in 2007 for a test against Ireland.
