Emerson College, located in Boston, Massachusetts, has maintained an internship program in Burbank, California, for approximately 20 years. The new Emerson LA Center, located on Sunset Boulevard amidst the studios of Hollywood, provides a permanent location for the program, both for its instructional/administrative facilities and its residential student housing. In so doing, the College seeks to enhance its presence and identity within a city that is not only the center of the television and film industry but is home to many of its alumni.
