Edificio plurifamiliare CCC
This building under construction is located on the outskirts of Ragusa (Sicily). The owners are three brothers who want to create a building with three residential units on a plot area of 1200 square meters. The result is a 2 storey building with attic. The three houses, while maintaining their independence, having separate access from the road, merge into an organic whole, with simple lines that reinterpret the tradition of local buildings. Access to three houses is guaranteed to lift two bodies completely covered in glass that allow the viewer, observing from the front, to see the garden behind the building. All the balconies of the building will be completed with slabs of glass balustrades, facades are plastered with white material, such as window frames. Coverage will be implemented through the placement of sheet metal zinc color. It's also provided the construction of a basement where the garage will be allocated, the services and deposits. The entrance on the ground floor will be made walking on a footbridge built with steel and glass overlooking the courtyard. Inside the three houses, which all have the same distribution of environments, are characterized by a large space for the presence of a double volume that combines the various vertical levels up to the roof. The presence of a skylight window at the double volume guarantees every hour of the day a good diffused light even in inland areas. It also allows you to ventilate in summer very easily different environments through natural air circulation system.
