Dubai Pearl, a 20 million sq ft integrated urban community, will set a precedent for sustainable urban communities in Dubai and herald a new era in the evolution of the emirates.
Situated on the main axis of the Palm Jumeirah, and overlooking Burj Al Arab and the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf, the geometric form of Dubai Pearl’s circular site and the rectilinear arch of its four towers create a strong dialogue between the two developments.
The architecturally-refined masterplan combines four sleek 73-storey towers, connected at the summit, with classical-inspired podium buildings set in an expanse of public realm. Almost half of the site area will be public open space, creating a socially-interactive environment and a truly 'walkable' city.
Dubai Pearl will be anchored by a dramatic tower, a new global landmark on Dubai's skyline, that redefines simplicity of design and efficiency. The pioneering column-free rectangular forms will create 20% more usable space, allowing complete flexibility of use and capturing unobstructed views. At street level, a low rise city centre will interact harmoniously with the symbolic tower to create a unique character and sense of place.
Dubai Pearl will be built to the highest standards of sustainability, using environmental technologies to achieve LEED Gold certification. Built-in smart technologies throughout the development will allow the highest levels of interconnectivity.
