DSC Cricket Stadium

DSC Cricket Stadium is a description of a new multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It will mainly be used for cricket. It opened with the Australia-Pakistan series that started on April 22, 2009. It has a capacity of 25,000 spectators, but is expandable to 30,000 spectators. It is part of the new mixed-use sports city currently being constructed in Dubai, Dubai Sports City. The Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to a three year agreement to have the Pakistan national cricket team stage One Day Cricket and Twenty20 events at the stadium.

First Match
The First ever One Day cricket match was played between Pakistan and Australia on 22 April 2009. The first cricket team that won in DSC Cricket Stadium was Pakistan.

Ring Of Fire
The lighting system of the stadium is unique. Instead of using towers the lights are mounted on the roof of the stands and creates a Ring Of Fire like view of the stadium.
