Broken bridge Adyar River in Chennai (Madras), India.
The bridge was built to facilitate the movement of fishermen from Santhome beach to Elliot's beach over the mouth of the Adyar river. The bridge spans across the Adyar estuary bordering the backend of the Theosophical Society. The bridge partly collapsed after due to strong currents of the river during a particular monsoon, and has never been repaired. It remains unknown to most people because the only way to the bridge is by foot or a 4WD car. Those who have been there consider it to be among the most serene places in the city.

The bridge has been featured in many Tamil movies like Vaali and Aayutha Ezhuthu.
