Boulder Eye Clinic

The Boulder Eye Clinic was designed by Charles Haertling in 1968 and is an excellent and rare example of organic architecture used for commercial design. The original building had long, tapering cones that projected horizontally in place of the four front windows. These cones held optical charts on the interior. The plan of the building is in the form of a section of an eye.
