Beaconsfield is located between Kenilworth Avenue and Beaconsfield Avenue, with station access from both.
The station consists of two platforms, in an island format, with a semi-large weatherboard building at the Flinders Street end of the station. A large Metcard ticket vending machine is located at the entrance to the island platform, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins, as well as a myki ticket vending machine. A disused toilet block sits in the centre of the station.History
