Arthouse at the Jones Center

Located in downtown Austin, Arthouse is a renovation and expansion project of an existing contemporary art space, currently a rich hybrid between a turn-of-the-century theatre and a 1950's department store. LTL seeks to amplify this accumulation of history by through a series of integrated tactical additions. In conjunction with the programmatic expansion of the gallery and office spaces, our design amplifies the visual dialogue between the art and the surrounding urban environment.
