Albert Lammers House

The Albert Lammers House is a house in Stillwater, Minnesota on the National Register of Historic Places. Its owner, Albert Lammers, was a successful businessman in Minnesota's booming timber industry in the late 19th century. He built his home in the Queen Anne style, and as with other lumber barons, his home was a monument to his accomplishments in business. The house has a number of details common to the Queen Anne style, such as its turrets, and it also has detailed woodworking on its gables and ornamentation along the roof line. Much of this woodworking was done by Scandinavian carpenters in the 1880s.
