Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square

Edit profile
Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square
Located in the heart of the action in downtown Toronto, just steps from the Air Canada Center, the hotel is a welcoming refuge, both elegant and refined. Integrated in a multifunctional complex also housing condos, office space, boutiques and restaurants, it distinguishes itself with its large windows and its glossy black metal facade. The hotel also emphasizes natural elements such as wood and stone and stands out with a pure and innovative design rooted in the essential. The lobby, a space entirely glazed to the outside, opens onto the bustling activity of the boulevard. Immense draperies divide the space to form large yet distinct areas. A motif of mirrors and leather squares cover the walls and columns and are harmonized with fabric-wrapped acoustic panels enveloping certain areas of the walls and ceilings. A central suspended art piece emphasizes the high ceiling. Facing the reception is the bar, contrasting in look with its white crystallized glass top, creating the perfect place from which to watch the city’s activities unfold. The boutique-hotel has 167 spacious rooms which are arranged in a unique and efficient manner: the hotel bathroom has been completely re-thought and incorporates elegant storage space. In the room itself, a black-stained exposed concrete wall, full width glazing, integrated furniture and millwork in Anigre wood complete the decor and bring comfort and freshness. The suites, made up of a bedroom and a separate living space, take up the space of two standard rooms. In the entrance we find a vestibule as well as a powder room boasting a magnificent white quartz vanity along with a luminous mirror. The living space is equipped with a full height window, a large L-shaped sectional sofa, and a light fixture by Artemide suspended over an elliptical dining table and chairs. A portion of the black concrete wall is clad with acoustic panels wrapped in charcoal coloured fabric. They ensure a superior acoustic comfort and bring a soft tone to the overall decor. We have also integrated a flat-screen television, a desk built of Anigre and a minibar. The bedroom comprises of a king sized bed which faces the floating, rear-lit unit against the black concrete wall, also housing a flat screen television. Here we also find accents in Anigre as well as white which illuminates the room and brings warmth and comfort.
